Why Digi Records Exists

Digi Records Consulting Ltd was founded on a simple observation: thousands of Kenyan organisations need professional records management — but can't afford enterprise solutions. The large firms charge KES 500,000 or more. Most SMEs, NGOs, SACCO offices, and government departments are left to manage on paper, with no system, no structure, and no compliance framework.

Our founder has direct hands-on experience in the public sector — including the NG-CDF environment — and has seen first-hand what happens when records fail: audit queries pile up, donor funding is threatened, staff spend hours searching for one document, and institutional knowledge walks out the door when people leave.

Digi Records combines deep records management expertise with Paperless-ngx — a powerful open-source document management system — hosted on affordable Kenyan cloud infrastructure. The result is enterprise-quality digital records management starting from KES 15,000. We are registered under the Business Registration Service of Kenya and are a registered Data Processor under the ODPC.
